What you are describing it a group composition issue, not an issue with the classes. If you have a power gamer of that intensity in a group of roleplayers, there's going to be problems. Alice doesn't belong in that group.
You aren't even discussing the point any longer. Not a problem with classes, that's just one of the ways the problem itself manifests. It's a problem created by 2014's efforts to balance the game and monsters around some form of self inflicted sabotage and not expect any additions though sources like gear or feats. That is a significant and obvious problem in direct conflict with the stated reasons for those design choices.
