Goblin info The goblins came to the area recently claiming all the lands in the area as goblin territory from ages past. Several cairns and ruins bear goblin marks and support this theory of prior occupation. However when a warmongering faction of the goblins attempted to displace the dover and elves with their hordes this sparked a war which reduced the goblin numbers significantly. Eventually a peace was negotiated with the Scholar King of the Dover mediating boundaries and peace terms. The goblins main village is restricted to the side of the river opposite the dover though individual functional structures such as rock mines were allowed on the dover side. Since the war a faction of the goblins favoring trade and interaction with their neighbors has been ascendent, though with growing numbers the war faction is said to be growing strong again and clamoring for the enslavement or death of non-goblins. A number of times goblins have raided into dover territory bringing retributive strikes from the Huntress Queen of the dover who has hunted down such raiders ruthlessly. The goblins are known for their leathercraft, clothesmaking, rock supplies, and certain magical creations. They are known to trade quarried rock and finished goods to the dover in return for animal hides and certain craft goods the dover are known for. The goblins worship their own dark gods though rumors say that their sorcerers make pacts with fiendish forces. The edge of goblin territory is marked by low slashing curved blade marks hacked into trees.
