[QUOTE="Pliantreality, post: 5764949, member: 6686815"] A barbarian's javalin whipped by Nalkyr, opening up a deep gash on his right upper thigh. The young eladrin hooted in pain, dropping to one knee. The barbarian on his right wasted no time wading in, and Nalkyr only just managed to fend off the worst of his assault. His leg was numb. The young eladrin wished he could simply touch the Green again to escape, but that was impossible right now. Spinning his feyblades in defensive arcs in front of him, Nalkyr fought to his feet and faced the barbarian. Desperation guided his weapons as they dipped and dove, seeking an opening. The barbarian swung at Nalkyr with a vicious, two-handed overhead- eager to finish him off. A throb of anger pulsed out from Nalkyr's chest. He was better than this. He was better and he would prove it. Lunging forward into the descending arc, Nalkyr swept his right feyblade up to meet it. He did not block the strike, but guided it aside such that the barbarian's momentum continued forward. Right into Nalkyr's left feyblade. The elegant weapon found purchase in the barbarian's throat, and the barbarian's rush carried him forward until half the blade extended through his neck. Nalkyr managed a single inelegant sidestep, dropping his weapon so the barbarian's corpse could finish its momentum slide off. A vicious thrill ran through him and he snapped his weapons up. The tempest of blades. The dance of steel. Nalkyr lived for this. [sblock= Actions] Standard: Twin Strike, H2 Minor: Sustain Hunter's Quarry Free: Feel pretty good about self [/sblock] [OOC] Critting is nice. Critting on a Minion is somewhat unnecessary. [/OOC] [/QUOTE]
