Well, this kind of went unnoticed, but it feels nice to me. Working on this article was very fun, and it represent the end of about two years of work done with the class. It was a labor of love. And that is basically it. Hope you guys get some good use out of it. Now I'm done with shameless self-promotion.

No, not unnoticed, I just didn't have time to read it till now.

This is pretty interesting, especially Path of the Heart. The idea of a noncombatant subclass for a warlord/commander didn't occur to me, and it nicely models the prince/princess archetype. Good work!

I like it well enough that I'll allow the first two subclasses in my next campaign. I'm not sure how balanced it is at lvl 17 and up, but we usually conclude before lvl 16.

I'm a little concerned about the Tactician subclass in terms of combat speed, so whether I allow that one depends on the size of the group and, frankly, on who wants to use it, because some of my players are a lot more "table-efficient" than others.

Overall, though, I love the flavor. Nice job!

I thought the middle path was a bit silly. Too teen girl romance-like. And no class that cannot fight is going to last in a long campaign. Might make a good annoying NPC to escort somewhere, though.
