Curse of the Lost Memories – Dungeons & Dragons & Pathfinder by Griffin Lore Games

Curse of the Lost Memories
is the first part of the Chronicles of the Celestial Chains adventure path for both Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition and Pathfinder by Griffin Lore Games. Suitable for use with most fantasy settings, this 100+ page adventure does contain original richly detailed, and mapped, locations, and should take characters from 1st to 4th level over a 10-15 session story arc.

Curse of the Lost Memories is a uniquely DM-friendly module that encourages role-playing even when players don’t normally do so. The inhabitants of the land the PCs interact with have their own motivations for the DM to use or modify, every location mapped carefully to provide a rich background of detail that when the DM starts to wing it, he or she has a solid foundation. The encounters are challenging and impactful, and many will leave players with a sense of accomplishment and sense of heroic wonder that will linger with them until the next play session.


It's hard fantasy—a ruthless environment with successful villains, detailed political setting, and tough consequences for heroes’ mistakes. The player characters have memories that are seemingly not their own—visions of the past that don’t feel like visions, some lingering while others vanishing as if hiding from something dark. The external threat coming from the local moors is only part of the fight PCs find themselves in.

This isn’t simply a mission for the local Viscount to clean out a moor of monsters. This is a war for their very identities. They must stand together or perish all.

The adventure starts as PCs are tasked to explore the vast, wild moor north of an Inn that is an important trade outpost on the Viscounty road. The moor is set as a vast "sandbox" for PCs to explore without rails but guided by strange memories they seem to have of the place. As they learn about the story of the moor and the great battle that happened there a century ago, they will face again the threat that destroyed the wealthy barony that was then established over the moor.


The module includes a balanced mix of outdoors adventures and dungeon romps, all pivoted around the mystery of the Knights of the Moor and solving the PCs particularly confusing memories.


Elven Lords Revisited: a Make 100 Solo Adventure by Richard Loomis

Back in 1990 Flying Buffalo released a limited edition of 1000 signed copies of the Elven Lords solo adventure for Tunnels & Trolls. Written by Michael Stackpole and illustrated by Liz Danforth, the book saw the player facing cutthroat thieves, barbarians, smugglers and pirates in the city if Gull (also known as the City of Terrors) and the horrors infesting the elven tombs to the north of the city. Now both creators have returned to bring us all an expanded deluxe edition of this classic, with more adventures being written into the existing storyline, fresh art from Liz Danforth alongside her original line drawings being colorized by collaborator-artist Steve Compton and others.


The project is available as a full color PDF, a black & white print copy of a limited edition signed full-color edition that was limited to 100 copies (and sold out very quickly upon launch).

Comet over Echo Rock, a 5th edition adventure level 2-4 by W.S. Quinton

Written as a follow up to The Draw of Glenfallow, and the second part of the Tarot Adventures, this gritty 5th Edition adventure is for 2nd to 4th level characters. Also containing setting information for Glenfallow, in the aftermath of the liberation of Glenfallow Keep, the book also details new non-player characters, changes to the area and new information to use for extended game play.

In this book, the characters are once again asked by Pieron to come to his aid. While Pieron is busy rebuilding Glenfallow Keep and overseeing the settlement of his lands, dark forces are making themselves known in the mountains to the north. Dwarves seeking to reopen the Echo Rock silver mine have been killed, and their fellows are calling for the blood of the monsters who struck them down. Pieron wants the monsters in the mine destroyed and the player characters are just the people for the job.


There is treasure to be had, innocents to avenge, and political clout to be earned. All that need be done is to triumph where all others have failed. Climb the mountains to face deadly peril. Wield steel and magic to put down the monsters of the north. What secrets will you uncover in the stygian depths of the mine? Victory over the monstrous creatures in the mountains brings glory and wealth for those characters brave enough to undertake the challenge, and skilled enough to survive.


The setting is ‘world neutral’, allowing you to drop it in to your existing setting with ease.

League of Seekers by FGFantasy

The League of Seekers is a horror RPG set in an alternative 18th century Europe, inspired by the folklore and myths of Europe, the works of H.P. Lovecraft, films such as Brotherhood of the Wolf and The Libertines, and computer games such as Bloodborne. Set around 1762, the Age of Enlightenment has begun, causing a struggle of control between science and religion over the masses. “A mad king sits upon the throne of England, monsters terrorise the peasants in France. The forests of Eastern Europe harbour beasts from folktales and legends. The Ottoman Empire has begun to lose its grip and to the south a sleeping god stirs, his dreams scratching at the thin veil that separates reality from the nightmare.”


The characters are part of a secret society called The League of Seekers, invited because of their skills and knowledge. The characters are sent to vanquish the horrors, thwart cults, and banish the cosmic terrors that wish to control the world.


The game uses a percentile system and allows characters to choose past careers, advantages and disadvantages. There is also a Time Mechanic that may indicate to the GM that there is a “cursed moon”. The cursed moon affects the game by making NPCs more aggressive, magic more effective, and the veil thinner… resulting in more monsters stalking the night. Sanity and Humanity are also kept track of during play.


For higher pledge levels, The Future Cult setting – taking place in a Cyberdark world of 2225 - is also provided to backers. In Future Cults we see Gods and cults manipulating the data streams, trying to tear open the veil to unleash horrors. Like the min game, the Europe of the future is a dark place. One that is filled, however, with megacorporations, cyber gangs and weird magick.

PolyHero Dice – Rogue Dice by PolyHero Dice

PolyHero are back with a brand new imaginative dice set. I’m a previous backer of their dice, having received their Wizard Dice last year, and love the series they’ve been developing ever since their first outing for the Warrior Dice.
