- WHY SPOTLIGHT THIS CAMPAIGN? Legendary Games already has a book of constructs and mechanized monstrosities for your gaming table. The creatures are described as the efforts of mad scientists and magitech resulting in clockworks and robotics that blend alien tech with sorcery. In these books, one per system, the monsters are the feature meaning more metal mayhem at the gaming table. What’s interesting with this second collection are the numbers: For 5e, you get 140+ constructs, for Pathfinder 2e, 130+, and for Pathfinder 1e, you get over 100. Each system gets a different number of creatures because these aren’t blanket reskins, but purpose built monsters designed for their specific system meaning when one only worked with a specific ruleset, it was only built for that set. This 80-page book gives you rules for the boss, new weapons to fight it, a full adventure, and adventure hooks to give this world legs. In addition, there’s a set of six-sided miniatures. This is a miniature set that looks like dice, but don’t be fooled. There’s a central cube with smaller cubes that you stack to provide additional benefits to make battles deadly. In a cyberpunk setting, this concept overcomes its resemblance to a few d6s to feel right with it’s iconography and combat options.
