Lose is a verb. Rhymes with booze and news. Means "to be unsuccessful in retaining possession of." You lose your turn when stunned. After you take an extended rest, you lose any unspent action points.

Loose is usually an adjective. Rhymes with deuce and caboose. Means "not fastened"--"Loose" is the opposite of "tight." You can use "loose" as a verb, but in that case it means "to set loose; release." You loosen a lightbulb. You loose an arrow at a target.

At first I thought this was going to be a thread about Holy Bovine, but that video was PURE AWESOME!

Maybe we should get Galloglaich to do a post on his thread about the comparative strength of various brands of beer cans when used for armor?

I have to see if these guys are on iTunes so I can download that song.

Cool link.

Wow that both rocks and ROCKS.

Love it, thanks for sharing.

EDIT: PS, I recommend changing the thread title though to something that lets people know what to expect.

Pretty sweet, but obviously trying WAY too hard to sound EXACTLY like the Sword/capitalize off their popularity.

Was there something in that video besides that sweet Tele thinline?

It’s a weakness of mine.

Pretty heavy tone for that guitar too, if that's what he actually played on the recording. I approve.

Well, I've never actually heard one live myself, but with the body cavities and the humbuckers, theoretically it should be able to have a nice heavy tone. It should take care of that standard tinny tele sound and give it a very nice warm tone with a lot of bottom end.

Yeah. Didn’t get a good look at the amp. (’Cause...you know...the Tele) I’ve never actually heard actual wide-rangers, but I have been told they were kind-of weak.

But it looked real beat-to-hell. Not those silly faux-beat-to-hell things that seem to be so popular these days.

Oh! And I hereby grant you permission to use your moderator powers to change the title.

Yeah I've seen that before it's hilarious.

I really don't like LARP myself but they seem to do it in a more fun way in Europe than in the US. Here is a kind of cool Larp video from I think Germany or maybe Sweden..?

The video is well done with the fake sound effects etc., I think they make it look a lot more fun than it really is. Whenever I saw people doing larp it was more like the kids in that video in the OP.

EDIT: this is also kind of neat, a stone golem somebody made for a larp somewhere

Can't be too popular, I've never heard of this "Sword" band before.

The blood effects need to be more syrupy, but other than that, good.
