Parents: roleplaying with children / kids compilation thread

As some of you know, I'm working on a dissertation about using tabletop roleplaying games as a modality of therapy. I have a thread on it here:
http://www.enworld.org/forum/general...sychology.html

In the course of my research, I've also looked into the forums for guidance on roleplaying with children. (I haven't yet decided what my population will be, but this research will help me determine if children are an appropriate audience, and moreso, if they are, what might be challenges/tips in roleplaying with them).

My research is your gain! If you are interested in roleplaying with kids, here is a compilation of threads from these forums on that topic.

Also, here is a very similar thread I've written over at WotC/gleemax forums on the same topic:

(If you know of more threads on this, or start a new thread on it, post a link, and I'll update this initial post).
