Dragon 377 - Bestiary: Big Trouble

The newest bestiary article went up last night. Its a series of paragon and epic tier monsters from the first two Monster Manuals either upgraded or downgraded to solo or elite status (there are also a couple of non-elite/solo versions). Also, they're all huge monsters available in the newest Legendary Evils mini set. My personal favorites are the frost and storm giants (the frost giant avalanche and storm titan thunder tempest are now my absolute favorite giants in 4e), along with the legendary rhemoraz (victim purge is hilarious). I though the demons and green dragon were kind of blah, and the beholder eternal tyrant seems like it could be a real pain to run if you weren't sufficiently prepared (the article even cautions DMs against using it in a casual fight and provides some pointers on how to run a battle against it).

The Beholder Essence/Shells are a curious creation.
