Through various personal connections and coincidences, you have all heard rumors of a death cult operating near the town of winterhaven. You are traveling from the west along King's Road.
Autumn
Some material has indicated they may be Vecna-worshippers, but there are some conflcting evidence,
The wind is cool and comfortable. The road beneath your feet is level. An occasional ancient cobblestone peeks through the dirt road, indicating decades of neglect. You notice footprints leading up and down the road, many of which were made by small, clawed feet.
instructions
Please describe on round of non combat actions. Your suspicions are raised by how little you can see by the boulders and foliage.
terrain
Features of the Area
Illumination: Bright light.
Road and Grass: The road is made of dirt, crushed rock, and occasional loose bits of ancient cobblestone from the original roadbed. Squares that contain road or grass do
not hamper movement or affect visibility.
Boulders: Scattered boulders sit along the side of the road. They provide concealment and possible cover for creatures hiding behind them. They also serve as obstacles to movement; a creature can’t move directly into a square
that contains boulders. The boulders are 5 feet high. Climbing onto the boulders
requires a DC 15 Athletics check and costs 4 squares of movement. A character atop the boulders can move onto other boulder squares; treat them as difficult terrain.
Foliage: Thick foliage grows near the road in several places. These areas are lightly obscured and provide normal cover for those attacking from or into the area.
Areas covered by foliage also count as difficult terrain.
Rock Outcropping: The sheer rock outcroppings bordered by a heavy black line are 50 feet tall and require a DC 20 Athletics check and a total of 200 squares of movement
to climb.
Gravestones: These stones provide cover to anyone standing in their spaces.

I made tokens for everyone to fit the squares. If you want to keep using you token, just delete mine, otherwise delete yours.
The blue Dragonborn's scale armor matches his own scales very well, and hisses softly as he moves. "Be on the ready lads, this looks like a fine place for an ambush." He moves forward 5 squares to have a better look around the bushes and 1st rock outcropping, with his flail and shield at the ready. If he finds nothing he will move forward another 5 squares.
OOC - I moved my token forward the first 5 on the mat. And I think I'll be sketching out a token for myself sometime today.

Alain moves cautiously forward, happy to let the dragonborn lead the way. He works his way behind the nearest rock, hoping to avoid notice if anyone emerges to face the others, and at the very least hoping to stay out of the fire zone if they get attacked.
"I'm right behind you, gentleman and lady," the tiefling says to Autumn and Adamar. He takes a second to consider the fact that all four of his compatriots have the same initial letter of 'A' in their names... and he wonders if perhaps he should take on a new nom-de-plume to maintain the symetry?
Small creatures hiding behind the rocks spring into view and begin to move toward you. With a shriek, the small humanoids attack. Scaled and rust-colored, they have reptilian heads and tails.

"I don't suppose you'd care to surrender?" Autumn asks. "No? Then I suppose I'll have to convince you."
She moves to get a better view of the kobolds, then calls down her deity's power at the closest-packed group of them. (Grasping Shards, centered on Kobold 3 -- range is burst 1 within 10; attack at +5 vs. Fort; does 5 damage and the targets are slowed until the end of Autumn's next turn)
(if I understand your notation correctly) All three Kobolds collapse in a burst of radiant energy.

(OOC: Adamar... just fyi... please do not go out of order, because everything you've just done to the battlemat is not valid. I go first after Autumn and then the kobolds go, which means you (and probably the kobolds) are not where you are really supposed to be. Most likely they would have come to you rather than you going to them.)
Stratagem sees a pair of kobolds pop up from behind some rocks, and the tiefling makes a beeline over to one of them to take a basic swing at it with his sword. "No point in trying to hide, my friends... we have eyes everywhere."
By getting a jump on the small reptillians beasts, he gains a slight advantage over them, and thus his swing easily catches one across the chest, causing a small amount of blood loss.
The kobolds gang up on Stratagem, stab him severely, and then slip away from his grasp. One kobold huls a javelin at Autumn, the other throws a ceramic globe at Adamar that cracks open to his right, releasing a sticky mass of glue.

The saphire blue dragonborn moves to the group north of the road to avoid the goop between him and the critter in front of him (N,N,N,N,E). Adamar swings his flail through DS2 then shifts past it to swing at the slinger.
Hitting the first but missing the 2nd as he steps in some gravel at the base of the rocks, Adamar marks them both. Growling into the face of the ranged attacker thats now in his reach he adds, "Try throwing those sticks and stones at me now pup.!"
OOC
Use Passing Attack. I used the same rolls from friday when I posted in the wrong order.

As you approached the Dragon shield, he slid out of your way. You still hit him, but he prefers to be over just a bit.

enemy shifts away or an enemy moves adjacent; at-will)
The kobold dragonshield shifts 1 square. I assume you still do passing attack on both. Let me know if I should assume you use combat challenge against the first marked enemy to trigger it.

Such bravery is admirable, Stratagem, but we need you hale and hearty to win the day, Alain admonishes the tiefling as he pours his arcane energy into a brief tune of healing power. Moving to confront the approaching enemy he shouts to all of his allies, Hit this one if you can reach him!
ooc
Majestic Word on Stratagem, HS+4 healing, and he can slide 1 square.
Move 2 squares (3 if he shifts away as I approach)
Attack DS1 with Warsong Strike, hits AC 23 for 5 damage, and anyone who hits DS1 before the end of my next turn gets 4 temp hit points.
Since the remaining kobolds largely spread out and intermingled with her companions to a degree that the attack she used before would be less effective, she called upon Ioun's power to aid Adamar, who was still facing two opponents. She brought forth a flury of astral blades, destroying one of the kobolds, damaging the slinger, and affording Adamar some manner of protection.
*EDIT* Just realized I shouldn't take my action until Charwoman Gene decides whether or not kobold DS1 is going to shift away from Alain or not. My action was to move up into flank, but that might not be possible.
This is a placeholder post until I know whether DS1 is staying where he is or shifting away.
