Oriental Adventures Combat

On page 62 of the Oriental Adventures book, there is the feat called Flying Kick. My question is this, if you use this feat and you score a successful critical hit would you get 4x the damage since the feat itself is double damage anyways? I decided yes while DMing a game, but would like other opinions.

I don't have OA, but the general rule is that for every multiplication past the first, you just add on one less than the multiple.

So an x2 and another x2 becomes 2+1, which is x3. Hope this helps!

I concur with graydoom. A Flying Kick's critical hit would inflict triple damage (x3).

I assume you guys are using the Variant ruling from the DMG on page 64-65? If not, please tell me where so I can read up on it.
