so i've given up my OD&D campaign and fully converted to 3.5ed.

what should i do next?

Hold off till next October, the expected release date of 4.0ed. The few leaks that managed to slip out of WotC playtesting groups sound promising. They've added a fully fleshed out system of Knacks (rumoured to encompass about 97 catagories) for characters to suppliment Skills and Feats.

But Hackmaster 4e is the only true game, and everything else is a pale imitation.
