My post has nothing to do with a kobolt, and if you really want common sense Ill offer the most plain in the terms of D&D + Kobolt + town

Sorry then, pal! Imagine I never posted that.

Damn, Kobolt is a really ugly name. I prefer old times in with it was with D. Kobold sounds far better. And talking about that, I also prefer old times when they were just furless dog people. Not some dragon-related dinosaur-like lizards. Just... furless dog people.

Tech includes clockwork I presume?

Only really complex clockwork, the sort that is indistinguishable from electronics and so on. Really this is meant to curtain things like firearms, cell phones, wristwatches, communicators, or any other sort of more modern sort of thing. One of our hosts uses a clockwork wheelchair sort of thingy and that's fine. Again, a touch of common sense works wonders.

Now, Fowai has a simple clockwork wristclock *points to where it says so in his description*. Does it fall under the 'no tech' rules? If so, I can easily change it to something along the lines of a sundial or hourglass. Wouldn't want those anti-tech priests comin' after Fowai. For some reason, I always picture them as a bunch of dwarves in robes, runnin' around with big mallets which they use to smash tech and other stuff (i.e. heathens, non-believers, etc.)...

ROFLMAO Now there's a mental image!

A pocket watch would be more in keeping with things to be honest; a wristwatch is a bit beyond what one would find, but it isn't egregious.

*laughs* Dwur in robes. *laughs*

Sorry to be a disturbance to ya Siani, but I'm confused when it comes to the calendar.

Currently the Greyhawk Calendar shows it to be Patchwall 597 C.Y. in Autumn.

How do we compare it to real life calenders?

Because I'm easily confused I do need a bit of help with this.

It may be January 20 now, but what do does that equal to on the Greyhawk calender?

Changes coming

Greetings

I've been away a lot obviously, but I've also had some time to think about a number of things. The result is that some changes will be coming to the Tavern Setting rules in the near future. I won't go into details yet, but I don't think most folk will have a problem with them.

Stay tuned.
