Raynor, the Eagar Acrobat

Raynor, the Eager Acrobat

Appearance
Raynor's short black hair contrasts with his wild green eyes, while loose clothing covers up the bruises and soot from constant acrobatic feats and frequent exploration.

Biography
An eager learner since he could remember, Raynor was always getting into trouble. At the age of 12 he happened upon a pair of ornately carved rods, borrowing them for a time. While learning elven (eavesdropping at the local university), he accidentally discovered the secret word that would magically suspend either rod in mid-air where they would not budge an inch! For weeks he practiced flashy acrobatics, until one day, while climbing near the forest he found it was he that was frozen in mid air. Soon two fey appeared, arguing about what to do. The eldarin demanded that Raynor would be imprisoned for his crime, while the elf admired the passion of the acrobatic display. They brought him back to their joint-village and presented him to the elders, where after an extraordinary performance of his talents, it was decided that for each day he had possessed the stolen items so too would the village possess Raynor. After a few months, he had contacted his parents and told them he was to stay in the village for a year. The year became two, where he was taught history and diplomacy by the eldarin, and how to sleep under the stars by the elves. After absorbing everything he could about elf and eldarin culture alike, he decided to move out in the search of more things to discover.

Characteristics
  • Insatiable drive to learn through experience. Sometimes to the chagrin of his fellow teammates.
  • Enthusiastic, talkative, and open-minded, but not foolish.
  • Wild and impatient, Raynor sometimes overlooks others opinions when presented with a new encounter.
  • Intensely focused, even when being seemingly impulsive.
  • Raynor tends to hide any disappointment and turn everything into a lesson. While his reasoning is a little askew, he usually is poignant in a sort of common wisdom kind of way. Think Yogi Berra.
  • Often makes nonsensical statements, often just to see if he never said them before. Always tries to open anything first by yelling at it in elven, then turning the knob.

Rick & Roll Superior Melee Weapon
Rick and Roll are two immovable rods, bound together by around 5 meters of elven rope. They can be used as two daggers or a spiked chain, and switching is a minor action. As a minor action the command word can be spoken to invoke their powers of immovability, where one or both suspends in mid-air (Str vs. DC 50 to move). If in physical contact, Raynor can do this as a free action without speaking the command word. They can be used to climb (DC5) and provide a +2 to acrobatics checks.

Kimbo Blacktongue: Goblin Rogue

Hey guys,

I made a Goblin Rogue using Microsoft Excel and the 4e rules. I named him Kimbo Blacktongue, in honor of the mixed martial arts dude, Kimbo Slice.

Anyway, the only reason any of that is REALLY at all interesting is that I incorporated a lookup for all races and classes, which makes character generation MUCH easier. Just choose your race and class from the pull down, and the spreadsheet will automatically populate the skills points, bonuses, languages, etc.
