The Ranger as... Urban Thug?
-High attack bonus
-Good hit points
-Excellent at stealth
-Favoured enemy bonus
-Track & TWF feats
I think these abilities make the Ranger a great thug/bandit. Even in the urban environment. If you want a Bounty Hunter, who could be better than an Evil Ranger with Human (or demi-human) as his Favoured Enemy? If you want a brawler (and Monks don't fit your campaign setting), try using a Ranger with Improved Unarmed Fighting. Consider using the Wilderness Lore skill in the "urban jungle".
A different take on an old favourite. Comments?"If people bring so much courage to this world the world has to kill them to break them, so of course it kills them. The world breaks every one and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry."
