Brandon the Swift

At the mention of a job, Brandon perks up.

"A job, you say? Sounds interesting!"

He finishes the last of his drink and grabs his backpack before getting up.

"I hope you don't mind if I enjoy my dinner while we discuss the specifics. I was told the soup here is quite good."

[section]The priestess' eyes light up at the mention of soup. Cocking her head to her taller counterpart, she asks, "Could you get me some of that soup? Smells wonderful!"

The escort sighs deeply. "Or, you can ask the barmaid yourself. The new rules," he attempts to continue.

"Are not in force, yet." The priestess concludes, effectively preventing her guard from completing his thought aloud.

The man looks down at her, as she clings to his arm. He draws a breath, as if to speak, then stops himself. His expression softens, somewhat, before replying, "As you wish, m'lady."

With the escort leading the step, the two Cortesians start towards the meeting room. Pointing out Leira and Brandon, he changes the subject, "Please excuse the interruption. Those wishing for employment please come dine with us in the back room. It is, apparently, now a dinner party. I'm paying."

With that, the duo disappear into the back room.[/section]

Before following the two into the back room, Brandon intercepts Marla.

"I will be having my dinner in the back room, if that is fine."

As he turns around, he adds with a smirk :

"Also, you may put it on the kind gentleman's tab."

With that, he follows the priestess and escort into the back.

As Jaggo overheard the duo, "yer rite, time for some ass-kicking advent's."

He stands up, with a faint smile, "Be right back", and enters the back room.

[MENTION=6776877]skydreamz[/MENTION], choosing black as text color hides it from what any one can see unless it get highlighted. You might want to choose a different text color, and a lot of folks use a dark background, and so keep that in consideration. Thank you!

[sblock=OOC/skydreamz]Question 1: Has Jaggo spent significant time in the Cortesia's largest temple in Venza (which is something called the Cathedral of Glass in the Incudine district), or is he from one of the smaller temples in the city?
Question 2: Does Jaggo wear any identifying symbology of Cortesia, such as on clothing or armor? (I'm working from the assumption his holy symbols are non-visible.)

PS: The fix for the text color issue Scott mentioned is to can highlight all effected text and choose text color Automatic.[/sblock]

Marla the Barmaid

With Brandon requesting to receive his meal in the meeting room, Marla adds with a snicker, "Well, if he's paying, you should order extra!" Seeing the priestess' escort walk by giving her a dirty look, she adds, "Errrr, maybe not." She turns to make her leave when the man calls to her.[/section]

"I'd like two of those chicken soup bowls, a glass of white wine, and a dark ale. In the meeting room, if you would," he specifies, then turns back towards the meeting room

The guard then turns his attention to the two orc-decended gentlemen discussing matters of food and adventure at the bar. Barely to make out Jaggo's features due to poor light and haze, he adds, "You too? Grab your food and meet in this room here, we'll talk it over." With that, he leads his charge into the meeting room…[/section]

Into the Tavern enters a young Woman with blond, curly hair and Plum colored eyes. Though she looks human, one could see some features hinting at some elvish blood.

"Good days to all of you." She addresses the tavern "Hmm.." She hesitates a moment "I have heard that you can get a job for adventurers in here. There wouldn't be someone looking for a novice adventurer at this very moment?"

Karra approaches the man guarding a meeting room. "Excuse me good Sir, It came to my attention that you... Hmmm..." She pauses for a short moment "That you are hiring. Are there any spots open?"
