    Toeto urges in a soft but enthusiastic voice, "You can get him!" Whether she's speaking to Sprout or to Fredrock, who is held in a vice-grip by the crocodile, is unclear. In any case, Sprout acts on the command by clawing at the red cap, striking it but with not enough force to wound it.

    Toeto then points her totem at Eithal and speaks a quick prayer to the spirits. Disgustingly, the sewer-mold that permeates the air grows into colony-sized spores and totally covers Eithal and Fredrock. The pair immediately launches into a sneezing fit, but they feel invigorated despite it.

    Sprout, not making much progress on this side of the battle, trots over the sewer-water to get closer to his shaman. Toeto swims through the channel and joins him on the other side of the bridge.

    OOC: Healing: Eithal spends a surge to regain 29 hp.
    Fredrock regains 15 hp, surge-free.
    Stat block/Actions
    Standard: Protecting Strike vs Red Cap misses Will 18. (1d20+9=18)

    Minor: Healing Spirit on Eithal for surge + 10 = 29 hp, with the secondary effect on Fredrock for 15 hp, surge-free. (2d6+6=15)

    Move: Toeto moves to L4 (going through the water) and Sprout to K6. Toeto makes the 12 athletics check even on a 1, so I won't roll.

    Spirit Companion notes
    The spirit companion is treated as a conjuration with some exceptions.
    • It occupies 1 square like an ally does.
    • It is only affected by melee or ranged attacks (not close/area attacks or zones).
    • It is dispersed if it takes 13 or more damage from a single blow, and Toeto takes 8 damage. It is otherwise unaffected by attacks. It uses Toeto's defenses.
    • It cannot be flanked and it does not grant flanking.
    • The companion can move 5 squares whenever Toeto takes a move action. It is not affected by difficult terrain.

    It is not easy to maintain one's dignity after falling flat on one's face in a sewer, but Scarmiglione nevertheless picks himself up and attempts to smooth out his feathers before giving the little blue creatures and the crocodile a good squawking.

    After slaying his initial foe Kaz rushes over to the next, the Red Cap creature that caused him so much pain. He lets the momentum of his run strengthin his blow, slicing a deep cut into the creature. His raven shaped scar also flares in a flash of light, siering the strange creature with holy energy.

    OOC: double checking damage: was at 33/64, healed 25 to 58, took 9-4=5 so 53 (unless that one blue guy missed, then I'd be at 59--40+25 = 64 - 5..)..so, both had missed,--edit so I'll be at 59 hp (64 - 5 from the blast)

    Fredrock continues to taunt the two remaining foes, then uses all his strength to try and bowl them over, but misses, badly.

    Minor: Battlemind Demand using 1 PP to mark both remaining foes until the end of the encounter

    My communities:

    GM: Fred aws only hit by the Croc last turn. In order to gain CA from being Invisible, you must be able to see. So, Fred took a moderate ammount of damage and then was healed to full by Toeto. He was then knocked down by 9 by Yishim

    OOC: twilsemail: How did the croc and the norhtern blue guy heal 9 and 16HP respectively? Last round they were at 78 adn 40. Now they are listed as 87 and 56?
    Eithal swipes at the crocodile as it glides past, but it ducks under the water just in time to avoid the warden's enormous axe.

    Refocusing, she backs up and hurls herself into the blue abomination, only to smash clumsily against the wall beyond, her frustration aparent, "Eeets lahk thayah sarrownded bah an invisable cayastle!"
