GM: Not to be too pushy, but if [MENTION=82643]CaBaNa[/MENTION] and [MENTION=85506]Darksteed[/MENTION] can post today, I can get an update in before I am out of town for a week. Also, I will be out of town for a week 3.10 to 3.17 :)

OOC: Was just waiting on everyone to go before I push as much as I can off the ship. If Kamotz hasn't gone by the time I wake up tonight. Then I'll post.

Nodding to Eloan and feeling bolstered by his words, Kamotz gave a quick prayer which consumes the power of the obliterated skeleton's passing and unleashes it with a mighty howl! The sound bolsters pack members near enough to feel the power of the clerics voice. The Bonecrusher takes the brunt of the force and catches ablaze Burn to ASH! barks Kamotz as the beast is wracked with the force of mortality.

Kamotz then proudly puffs his chest forward at Helsing, allowing his holy symbol to shine bright black light on the sinner, highlighting the true darkness surrounding him. Repent the end is nigh.

*Once again Hunzu steps forwards raising his polearm then slamming the blunt end of it down into the ship's deck. He warps time once again, as he has done many times before though only the Bonecrusher Skeleton circums to his will and gets sent flying off the ships deck. Hunzu continues to barrage Helsing with yet another bolt of force as it slams into him. Making Helsing's regeneration almost seem unless.*

As I read it, the Effect happen when the power is used and last UEoNT.

On next round, 7 Rabbit will be able to use the Sustain and then, the effect will continue UEoNT of the second round AND the Secondary Attack will happen for the first time and at the moment 7 Rabbit will use his minor action to sustain. [/SBLOCK]

Ship Showdown, Round 6

GM: [MENTION=79945]JoeNotCharles[/MENTION] I read Overwhelming Force Trap to read 'substitute at-will melee power for MBA' so I don't believe you can use it. Not sure if anyone's attack with CA was from potential daze, but it doesn't seem to have affected the rolls or damage for the round. Also, Eloan's Overwhelming Force Trap is still available.

I read Hunger of Hadar again and agree with you completely. Thanks for the help!


Eloan raise his sword and the magic of the weapon ward partly against the attack. Eloan fall on his back. "Ouch! Help! Damned!" felling the pain, Eloan feels his courage weakening. "Get that stupid hunter! Kill it if needed! Come on, give all you have!" He stands up. "Kamotz, come on, you are better than that." Kamotz strike the skeleton next to him, but miss again.

Seeing Helsing looming just out of reach beyond his undead servants, 7 Rabbit yells, "I'll keep the necromancer busy - finish cleaning up his minions!" He circles around the skeletons and sets up to charge.

But before he does, a wicked grin crosses his face. "Oh,"[color] he murmers to himself, "This would make a fine feast to sate Hadar's hunger!" He begins rocking back and forth, muttering dark words from behind his mask, and waving his club in complicated passes through the air. He begins hopping from one foot to the other in a jerking dance.

As he moves, a dark void seems to open beneath Helsing's feet. Below is a vertiginous field of stars - although it has the odd effect that, when looking down into it, the viewer feels like they are staring UP towards the sky despite the pull of gravity.

In the center of the field is an area of utter blackness, and at its center is a dull red orb, like an afterimage. Although it does not move or change, the orb seems to swell larger and larger, as if perspective is changing around it. It is swimming up from below like a creature from the depths of the sea, closer and closer... Abruptly the rift closes, but the darkness remains, clinging to Helsing and the nearby skeletons as if it were cobweb, leeching strength from their bones.

Satisfied with his sacrifice, 7 Rabbit runs towards Helsing while the necromancer is distracted, swinging his club. As soon as he enters the field of darkness, though, he realizes his mistake as bits of the shadow-stuff attach to him and begin to devour him as well! "No, not meee!" he wails, swinging desperately at it with his war club. His thrashing does nothing to halt the leeching star-stuff he has called into being, but by accident he thumps Helsing with a solid blow. So he's got that going for him.

*7 Rabbit feels his energy drained being this close to Helsing's necrotic form*
GM: 7 Rabbit takes 5 damage from entering Helsing's aura. I think I forgot 5 damage one round on Kamotz for starting in aura...


Kruor grabs hold of the skeleton, but it wrings free by detaching one if it's arms and swings back with it's blade. Surprised, Kruor dips his head back, while dropping the arm the ship's deck. As the two undead size each other up, Kruor can't help but be disturbed when the arm slowly climbs back up the skeleton to re-attach itself. "That be so creepy. But maybe Kruor can take lesson out of your book too."

Nate sustains his bombardment as he advances. At least one skeleton falls under the continuous attack. Hidden by the darkness, underbrush grows on the deck to hinder all undead... nearly all undead, Kruor is a fine boy!
The pack wolf continuous his near suicidal hunt after the biggest undead creature around.

Sorcerer moves forward, strangely fluid for a blind man. He even swerves to avoid threatening reach of big skeleton. Calling upon forcefully stilled waters around the ship and the mists surrounding it, he focuses the energy inside the darkness of the stars. There is movement inside the mist, but nothing emerges out of it.

The skeleton giant is engulfed in Kamotz's flames a split second before Hunzu's force blasts the giant bones into the water of the bay. Helsing is smashed by 7 Rabbit's hammer just before Ilarion's blast of water and cold buffet the undead master. One of the skeleton's protecting Helsing is pulled apart by the wind, leaving him only one remaining defender.

Helsing steps out of the leaching darkness. While leaving he trips on Nathantiel's roots, for a moment leaving him totally defenseless. 7 Rabbit takes advantage of the opportunity and clubs the skeletal form on the back. Helsing reaches the prow of the ship and screams back at the adventurers.

"You fools! You think you can really hurt me?! I am Helsing the Undead Hunter! Your actions here have only sealed your demise!"

"You!" He points at Kamotz. "STAY!" A deathly bolt strikes the shifter and he and his steed freeze to the ship's deck.

"You!"
He points at Hunzu. "Stop hitting me with those bolts!" With just a moment's notice of building power, an explosion of lightning dances across the deck. Hunzu is almost blown to pieces by the force. He goes down in a pile of crystals. The allies close to him, except Nathantiel's blink dog, are quick enough to avoid the blast.

"Shake it off, soldier!" shouts Eloan to Kamotz ears. The shifter jumps up before feeling the adrenaline rushing back into his system, overcoming Helsing spell.

Eloan than quickly move to Hunzu and help him back on his feet. "Come on, you are tougher than that, you know it." Eloan's shield suddenly glow and Hunzu feels even better.

He then turns toward Helsing. "You are no hunter, you are a NECROMANCER. You have become even worst than what you are hunting. And even worst than that, you are pathetic and losing!"

OOC: Overwhelming Force Trap is still available. Dazing Helsing would be a GREAT thing.


[SBLOCK=OOC]Standard: Heal (1d20+8=17) on Kamotz... he can make a save now : Kamotz Save vs Immobilized (1d20=15) Kamotz is no more immobilized.

7 Rabbit struggles his way though the shadowy netherstuff toward Helsing. Black tentacles surge up from around his feet, dragging at both him and the skeleton. Feeling the life ebb from him, he slumps and gives up. "Hadar, to you I commend my soul," he whispers. "May you find it an offering as fit for you as a beating heart. Please take this gift and take pity on us poor mortals. Find a new champion to turn back the end times!"

Hadar is pleased. A tentacle lashes out of the void and wraps itself around Helsing's throat, and pulses ickily as it sucks necrotic energy away. 7 Rabbit feels himself grow stronger as Hadar returns a bit of the gift he was given.
