3rd Edition D&D lead designer Jonathan Tweet joined the guys at the Geek in Review podcast this week. Jonathan talks his new RPG 13th Age, which he's co-designing with Rob Heinsoo, lead designer for 4th Edition D&D. He talks about the unique features in 13th Age, including the escalation die and icons, as well as taking combat out of the center of the game, and giving players more power traditionally reserved for the DM. In addition to the 13th Age talk, Jonathan and hosts Jeramy Pappas and Russell Jones touch on the state of the tabletop RPG industry as a whole, including the principles behind the next iteration of D&D.
