This is my first try at Erica's template, so I chose to make it easy. I present to you...
The Lizard Monkey!
Tiny Beast
Hit Dice: 1d10 (5 hp)
Initiative: +2 (Dex)
Speed: 25 ft., climb 25 ft.
AC: 14 (+2 size, +2 Dex)
Attacks: Bite +4 melee
Damage: Bite 1d4-4
Face/Reach: 2 ½ ft. by 2 ½ ft./0 ft.
Saves: Fort +2, Ref +4, Will +1
Abilities: Str 3, Dex 15, Con 10, Int 5, Wis 12, Cha 7
Skills: Balance +10, Climb +10, Hide +10, Listen +2, Spot +2
Feats: Weapon Finesse (bite)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Climate/Terrain: Warm forest
Organization: Solitary, pair or troop (10-40)
Challenge Rating: 1/6
Treasure: None
Alignment: Always neutral
Advancement: 2-3 HD (Small)

Considered by most no more than a nuisance, Lizard Monkeys can be potentially dangerous opponents when encountered in large groups. A Lizard Monkey looks like a monkey, except for it's scaly skin and reptilian eyes. They usually patiently stalk their prey from treetops, pouncing on them when straight below them.
Skills: Lizard Monkeys use their Dexterity modifier for Climb checks and receive a +8 bonus to Balance checks.

do they taste like chicken?

Very cute, but don't we already have Kobolds? ; )

But I do think that it is an elegant and resonable juxtaposition of two dissimlar creature.

Thanks for the input!

I certainly don't mind if you use it! I'd be glad to have your opinions on how it worked against your players!
Now, I'll go into designing more of these meanies!

And yes, they do taste like chicken! :D
