Hello and welcome to the newest edition of the PAIZO NEWS ROUNDUP! This go-round, we’re taking a break from Starfinder, Starfinder, Starfinder for something a little different: third party Starfinder, Starfinder, Starfinder! That’s right, we’re going to shine a spotlight on some of the lesser-known publishers all trying to give you the tools you need for the best game of Starfinder you can make.

Let’s start off with a product you can actually hold in your grubby little paws. Coming from Legendary Games, we have To Worlds Unknown, an adventure for 1st to 5th level characters and part of the upcoming Legendary Planet Adventure Path. Take your characters on a treacherous, portal-hopping adventure as they navigate to safety and reward before betrayal inevitably strikes.

Physical books are on the way out, it seems, which is why there is such a wide plethora of amazing PDFs available for consumption. Straight Path Games has a new campaign setting compatible with both Starfinder and Pathfinder: the Orbi City-Station, over a dozen miles of metal and glass in space. In the same vein, the Cosmic Odyssey: Service Bots and Synthetic Companions from Fat Goblin Games offers both players and GMs options for equipment, vessels, character options, and an entire competitive corporate world.

Players and characters get the most love with the third-party releases, evidenced by the multitude of player supplements coming from the small devs. The Alien Party Bus coming from Red Goblin Games offers 5 new races packed with whimsy and humor and perfect for your new game of Starfinder. Rogue Genius Games is at it again in their Starfarer’s Companion, with expanded character concepts, races classes, feats, companions, starships - so much to love, and that’s even before they get to 7th, 8th, and 9th level spells! For those of you who want to try something REALLY different, or who just can’t get enough pony in your life, Silver Games, LLC is bringing the magic of friendship once again to Pathfinder, Starjammer, Starfinder, and even more systems with Ponyfinder: Beyond Everglow, featuring new races, feats, traps, monsters, and some love for rogues and their talents.

Finally, it would be remiss to talk about any self-respecting starfaring game system without getting excited about all the ways to sail the cosmos! Say hello to all the neat starship parts you could want from Louis Porter, Jr. Design with Infinite Space: Weapons of Starship Destruction, which includes a host of new systems and layouts and several unique weapons and equipment for use on starships. And, if you love to chart out those thrilling space battles on your table top, look no further than Jon Brazer Enterprises and their Star Battles: Hex Space Maps 1 and 2. Engage in technicolor laser fights or white-knuckle chases over planets, through asteroid fields, and twisting nebulae.
That’s it for this edition of the PAIZO NEWS ROUNDUP! Stay tuned for more next time, where I’m guessing we’ll see even more STARFINDER, STARFINDER, STARFINDER!
