Pathfinder 1E Pocket Pathfinder - why can I read Bestiary 2 but not Core?

I was wondering if there is a difference in font size or colour or background colour or something. Because despite my middle-aged eyes I can read the pocket edition of Pathfinder's Bestiary 2, but I have trouble reading the pocket edition of the Pathfinder core book.

Anyone have thoughts on this?

I am not familiar with the pocket versions of these products, but what platform are you reading them on?

Hard copy. Dead Tree. Actual Paper. "Live". Totally Tactile. The version that requires no electricity (at least on a sunny day, or near a fire).

It seems odd that your are unable to read it. Have you tried zooming in or is it fuzzy? It's hard to trouble shoot without knowing the issue. If you play with a group, have them take a look at it. If not, I'd go to my local game shop and see if there are groups there, or if someone that works there can assist you.

Eugene, it is a dead tree real paper physical book, not an electronic pdf. Zooming doesn't enter into it unless I move my face closer to the pages.
