True, knowing him, the entire cast will be Latino and the title character will be renamed Juan Castro. He'll also be a compatriot of Pancho Villa instead of an Confederate civil war veteran from Virginia.

I always thought Catherine Zeta-Jones would be a great Dejah Thoris and Hugh Jackman as John Carter.

Hmmm... Good choices. Zeta-Jones certainly has the qualities of Dejah. Not sure that Jackman is the best choice, but he is a good one.

I hope they do a good job with the computer animated Tars Tarkas. He was the coolest charecter, after John Carter of course.

Man, this is good news.

I'd like to see Christian Bale as John Carter, Salma Hayek as Dejah Thoris, Samuel L Jackson as Xodar, and Peter Weller as the Holy Thern.
