PC annoys Faeries - urgent RB DM advice needed ! (My players stay out)

So one of the PCs in my game annoyed a faerie noble last night.

Mourne (the PC in question, an Alienist) was negotiating for the use of land so he could build a strong hold (he's jsut taken the landlord feat from the SBG). After finding a spot he liked he was surrounded by grigs. After talking with them for a while he discoved that the area was governed by the satyr Rorchti. He asked the to fetch the saytr and proceeded to negotiate for the use of the hill and lake. After Mourne showered him with gifts includign a ogre mage's great sword and a cocatrice egg, Rorchti said that he could use the area to build on if Mourne did him a favour. A local nymph had stolen his pipes, and if Mourne got them back, then he could do as he wanted.

So the next day Mourne went out, his fathful acomplice in tow, and found the vale where Rorchti said the nymph lived. Mourne spotted the mymph and proceeded to talk with her. The nymph, Reyni, told Mourne that she had only stolen the pipes after Rorchti had stolen her ioun stone.

So Mourne decided that he liked Reyni much more than Rorchti, and that he wouls steal the ioun stone, exchange it for the pipes and then return them to Rorchti fulfuilling the letter, if not the exact spirit of the bargain. Mourne did this through judicious use of alcohol, lucky bluff roles and the use of Keogam's Ointment's neutralise poison ability.

The exchange was made, and Rorchti was hopping mad, but knew he was outclassed by Mourne. So he fled back to faerie, knowing that technically the agreement had been kept, but that revenge must be had!

So, good ENWorlders, how can Rorchti (male satyr Sor2/Fey Courtier4) take revenge? He has considerable resources behind him, but wants to aviod embarasment at court. He's also not evil so probably wants to avoid just trying to kill Mourne, more just make his life uncomfortable.

Some ideas I've had this mornign include telling his grigs to cause all of Mourne's workers to dance uncontrollably, and letting Mourne build but not actually live in his stronghold. But they can be nastier than that.

Ideas?

Fairies, o how odd his home will be sproting strange plants and flying fish.

Well, if you want a slightly nastier form of revenge, how about having Rorchti and his allies steal away the stronghold's children, and spirit them back to Faerie? It would be rather traditional fey behaviour, after all. I like the idea about the grigs, too.

Cast a funny (low-level) curse. Any time the PC talks, his voice becomes high pitched... whenever he sees (children, members of the opposite gender, blood, etc) he makes a funny noise... or maybe his spells require him to sing a silly song as part of the verbal component (not increasing the casting time, however).

Basically, something embarassing which will force him to return the stolen items.

Hmm, I'd say go with something to break the spirit of the contract.

If the agreement was that "He could build his castle", he could make it "difficult" for the workers he was to hire to actually do the work building the castle to be unable to work (something as simple as the satyr keeps getting them far too drunk to actually get any work done).

How about a curse so that he can build all he likes, but the structure will never be finished? Perhaps tack on something such that neither he nor the workers realise that they've been working for so long.

Something like "groundhog day", only the rest of the world DOES advance...

1- "Oh, I did indeed allow you use of my land... but I did not allow you exclusive use! Lucky you, you'll have front-row seats to the Wild Hunt every October!"

2- His castle is now full of grigs & pixies, who gather and sell information on him to ... whomever.

3- "Oh, forgive me for not sharing the good news sooner! Ever since you taught me that leasing my land was a wise and profitable venture, I've come to understand that there are many people -- like yourself -- in need of temporary real estate. I'm sure you'll get along fine with your new neighbors, Al-Hassan the Alienist and Doktor Damian the Diabolist."

*DING! Precisely what I was thinking. Try to remember exactly how the agreement was worded and hold the PC to it ... unless he would like to renegotiate a deal that would restore the satyr's "face".
