Trip with AoO?

Can you use a trip attack during your attack of opportunity?

Can you use a cleave attack during your attack of opportunity?

Is there something which states this in the text?

Yes to both.

The trip-as-AOO is stated in ch. 8, "Table: Miscellaneous Actions" in a footnote (3.0 PHB p. 128).

The cleave-after-AOO is just like normal if you satisfy the "make it drop" trigger in the feat description. The Sage confirmed this in the FAQ. Nontheless, many people don't like it and ban it as a house rule -- there's a thread a few weeks back on this topic.
