A true mariners statement. I travel with a pack. That going to be a problem?

"Well, I, uh" The Dwarf was obviously out his element, and didn't quite like the prospect of being stuck on his ship with such a beast, luckily he had another distraction.

I am known as Hunzu Seisoku-Kurisutaru. I may be of service to you Captain Grubeus Flintstone as I have already grown accustomed to the ways of the sea having recently defended a vessel from pirates and the ilk.

The dwarf hardly noticed the voice was in his head, so intrigued, as he was, with the finely dressed talking statue.

"Well, can't hurt to have a bit of sea experience. None to sure, as I am, what kind of trouble this may lead to. Best take a group of all types probably. . . don't get too many more types than in this room here."

[sblock=ooc]Mounts will not be an issue. . .to bring anyway.[/sblock]

Neurotic

I plan on living forever. Or die trying.
"And what kind of 'all kinds' would you consider? Would you take a blind elf with you? And don't make a mistake about it, I can get around as well as any sighted creature."

Devinihm, wilden druid

"You do not think this jail is another place where the veil has thinned, do you?" Devinihm says to Illarion as his former adventuring companion rises. "If so, perhaps I should come, as well." The wilden scratches absentmindedly at the black scar running along his neck.

OOC: Devinihm is a 4th level druid, though full disclosure: he's literally 9 xp away from 5th. If you want to stick within the 1-4 range, I'm fine with having him mill about the tavern longer.

A blind elf and a tree, sounds like a parable. Kamotz laughs again, This may end up being a deeply moving religious experience after all. The shifter perks up at the prospect.

A young woman opens the door.

My name is Cynthia. I have been told that this tavern is a good place to hear about the local rumors.

The Captain scratches his beard, trying to wrap his head around the choice he was supposed to make.

"Now I don't know nothing about trees, or being blind, or well, its been a while since I knew something about jails. I do know I only have so much room on my boat. Just gimme a moment and we'll just who might be getting board."

[sblock=ooc]I was expecting slightly more response from lower levels. Considering who has spoken up so far, I may be scaling the encounters to make the adventures a bit more like level 3, level 3.5ish. Being close to 5 is fine.

The good captain will make his choice Thursday Night/Friday Morning. I want to give just a wee more time for people to speak up.[/sblock]

OOC: I am waiting to bring my adventure into the Tavern until after ScorpiusRisk is done, but here is the summary beforehand to those of you on the fence

[sblock=Adventure Summary]
The Earl of Jehosh and his estates are entering a desperate time in
history of the family. Once a small yet prosperous holding north of
Daunton, the surrounding farms have been plagued by worse and worse
seasons as well as banditry. He has come to the city for supplies
with his man-at-arms Randall but they need guards to escort the more
obvious bounty through the troubled lands to their keep. If the
bandits are confronted and defeated there would be additional
compensation.

This is a short adventure of four encounters and skill challenges for 4-6 PCs. Any level will work (but it is advantageous there is no disparity of more than 3 levels apart between any PCs)
