Well they don't all go last. The one's at the back go before Ezraen and Surana. I'll play out the NPC turns but we'll wait to hear from JustinCase to see if Erevan agrees to move up before I play the turn for the two at the rear.

OOC: Sorry, I didn't realize you were waiting for my response. Obviously I agree to move Erevan forward so we can, hopefully, all get the hell out of there.

OOC: No worries. We know you're several hours ahead of us. I just don't want to be in the habit of speaking for a PC without at least giving the player a day or two to confirm. What if something bad happened to the PC?

Note: The path is narrow enough at the back of the party that large creatures must have a climb speed or make athletics checks to avoid falling. Both Hook Horrors and Quaggoths have climb speeds (20' and 30' respectively).


Everyone shuffles forward. Derendil backs up 15' and readies an attack on the Hook Horrors if they get close to him.

The upper hook horror gains the path and clambers forward, closing the distance (dash). The other climbs along under the path and gets close enough to attack as well. Derendil takes a desperate swipe at the one on the path to try to shove it off the cliff.

OOC: Erevan, your rolls are on f i r e man

Elation surges in tune with rage as Erevan's arrow tears into the creature's neck. Fighting was always a joy, but fighting in such skilled company was an honor. Ragged as they all were, Surana sometimes forgot what Erevan was, but in moments like this it was unmistakable. He had a prince's training with that bow.

Surana thinks she hears his voice for an instant, and though his distinct words are lost to her, she's glad of his presence as she assaults the hooked beast again.
