Is there any "right" way to interpret the statement, "I love Paladins."

Much like, "As pretty as an airport," or "As useful as a gnome," or "Other than the ending, President Lincoln really enjoyed the play," it just doesn't compute.
I just like the traditional, LG hero

That's what I'm saying: I love paladins. I just think D&D didn't get them quite right before just saying "alignment restrictions are evil!"
No, they are not. It was just bad execution in some cases.
Paladins in the past have been pretty bad, 5e paladins are definitely in a better spot.

The 5e Paladin doesn't feel like a Paladin to me, just another "holy warrior" class.
To me paladins less holy more about a cause. Why I like 5es paladin it dropped the gods and punishment. Guess that's the beautiful thing about opinions everyone has one and there all wrong!
