Heroes go first in the order of their posting
Then Owlbear
[sblock=Rolls & Results so far]Owlbear vs. Corwin’s ice knife Dex save: 1D20+1 = [14]+1 = 15, made it, no damage.
Owlbear vs. Shara’s scared flame Dex save: 1D20+1 = [13]+1 = 14, made it, no damage.
Hunter gives Lucious inspiration and casts dissonant whispers Wis saves: 1D20+1 = [3]+1 = 4, failed. It uses its reaction to move 40ft away. It takes 10 damage. Note no one is adjacent to it yet so no OA. It did take damage so now it is going to want to kill you and will not retreat.
Magen can’t reach it this round without a double move. He could move up and Ready for it to come back (which it will) and his and attacks and rolls go off then…

I will MAKE one offer here. Megan made his Nature check. He could have yelled to NOT attack if you want as a Free Action. If the party flees, the owlbear would not pursue (it has its meal). If you attack it and do damage to it, it will pursue you until you are dead or it is… just as an FYI, before it acts…[/sblock]

OOC: as a player I agree, however Lucious is a bit blood crazed.

OOC: Well if we TPK here (and we will, the owlbear's damage output per round being more than six times what I can heal), Lucious never gets to kill anything again, soooo...Shara will bash him over the head and drag him away if that's what it takes. :p

This post was supposed to say that, but I'm clearly not very good at subtle and also got a bit mixed up with the actual order of actions as I realise that I haven't actually said that, just that a fight would be life or death.

GM: Yes I assume that you kind of act in the order that you post BUT it is only a Free Action to yell IF you want to AND if the others listen too you. I made it tough but... there was (hopefully) an escape option

"Agreed," Shara says to Hunter. She's about to turn around and start running when she notices Lucious's tight grip on his halberd and unwavering concentration on the beast.

She takes one last cautious step forward and puts a hand on his arm from behind. "Lucious," she says pleadingly. "You left home for glory. Dying pointlessly, without ever seeing the Dwimmermount...there's no glory here. Please, let's go."
