Still no major storyline being revealed. More of the "lots of fighting". Sadly that was also the marketing for Batman v. Superman.

The major storyline is that Batman seeks out and forms a group of superheroes he calls the Justice League to fight an invading alien force.

How much of the plot do you want spoiled? I know a LOT more than that. In terms of trailer and preview materials/interviews/etc. I feel like I've seen most of the film at this point. I won't post it all here though just in case.

We'll add it to the list of many things that're {probably} wrong with this movie.
Plot development, pacing, lighting/coloring, the batmobile (at least it not the Tumbler though), most of the costuming, some of the casting, & the fact that that it's mostly a Snyder film but now with some Whedon added.

Blimey! You’ve seen it?

Well, just because they *could* afford to licence a song for a few thousand for a single trailer doesn't mean they wouldn't want to find an alternate with the same lyrics for half the cost...

Could’ve would’ve. They could have hired my brother instead of Ben Affleck for less and filmed the movie in my back garden.

It’s not about the money. We can make guesses all day as to why they made a particular decision, but neither of us know. But saving a trivial amount of money is very unlikely to be the driving factor. Craft services for one day of shooting probably cost more.

thats not really story though it's plot.

Story is more things like "Aquaman initially refuses to join (Quote:"One Man is Stronger Alone") but after getting his ass handed to him when Stepenwulf invades Atlantis, he decides to join the fight above because Earth is being terraformed...."

still haven't seen Superman back (Clark kent in a dream doesn't cut it)
I don't know if may trailers that go that deeply into the story.

Money allotted for the marketing/ advertising team is generally on top of the regular cost of the film. And this is, what? The fourth major trailer for the film. Those costs add up.

OK, David. You know exactly how Warner Brothers financed their film.

I know that marketing costs are one of the big reasons film need to earn 2x their budget to turn a profit. Why a $250 million dollar movie needs to make $500 million to be a success.
I know that licensing a song by a noted artist for a trailer often means you have to pay money every time it plays. When you consider how many times a trailer might run, that quickly adds up.

I've seen the trailers where all those elements save the poor plot development & bad pacing are on display. Does that count?
We'll see if the bad plotting & pacing is present come Nov.
