I wish they could release the next extra life rewards today ahahah
They already achieved the 40 k mark so:
$30k: Subclass preview, from Xanathar’s Guide
$35k: Drawing of in-game Tortle champion asset, from Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms
$40k: Table of Contents, from Xanathar’s Guide

So, uhh... apparently the Wizard Subclass is War Magic. I'm surprised, Thaumaturgy seemed like a shoe-in. Pleasantly surprised though, as I really didn't like Thaumaturgy.

i am seeing the channel from d&d beyond talking about the war magic. They gonna get to add Int to their initiative modifier, this is awesome.
I like the concept of war magic being something between abjuration and evocation school.

Cleric is just Grave and Forge for 2
Druid Shepherd is confirmed for 2
Drunk Master and Long Sun (SCAG reprint) confirmed for Monk getting 3
Ranger gets 3 (renamed Deepatalker, looks like)
Swashbuckler and Mastermind from SCAG reprinted for Rogue to make 4
Storm Mage from SCAG give Sorcerer 3
Warlock gets Hexblade for 2
And War Wizard confirmed.

So, PHB + XGtE gives the following range of archetypes:

Barbarian: 5
Bard: 5
Cleric: 9
Druid: 4
Fighter: 6
Monk: 6
Ranger: 5
Rogue: 7
Paladin: 5
Sorcerer: 5
Warlock: 5
Wizard: 9

Total: 71

Median among all Classes:5
Average per Class:5.916666667

Considering how specific the Druid is, the balance seems relatively fair at this point.

They screwed up, Sun Soul is very much Forgotten Realms setting specific. Not that it's not easily ported, just pointing that out.

Surprised by Mastermind, but it's setting neutral.

Their primary consideration was really AL popularity, on all likelihood.
