Just to add insult to injury. Life cleric 1/druid 3 can turn healing spirit into 10d6+40 = 75 HP. Enough to completely heal a level 20 party.

Well... without the life cleric part, it's still 10d6. And the GM could argue that since it's the *fey spirit* that heals, not the spell itself, that the life cleric bonus doesn't work ;)

A simple solution to Healing Spirits (which I plan to use until shown otherwise) is to limit it to 3 times per round. In combat, it's unlikely to make a big difference, but out of combat it will limit the healing to be just a bit more than Prayer of Healing (30d6 vs. 12d8+30 [max Wis]). Given that it is a concentration spell (potentially ending an active concentration spell), this seems acceptable to me.

... I think both mellored and I assumed that it only healed one person per round? But upon re-reading, it seems like you could have a bunch of people cross over the spirit's location for multi-heals... what a poorly worded spell.

maybe? Can you give examples?
Well lets see sorc druid with nature guardian (call spirit which transforms you) and metamagic sorc points for say empower damage boost on the extra force dmg or duration increase since thr fey did the transform etc. There are likely others but also of course the other life domain healing stuff. Just seems an awful lot of creative imagining that wasnt around before to cut back a new spell rather than just directly fix the spell to me.

Once per round was probably the intent.
10d6 total (which would be the same as prayer of healing with 3 people), rather than having people walk though it for a minute.

What the frak?

Option 1 uses up hit dice, and takes a whole hour.

Option 2 takes a minute and is next to limitless (just a 2nd level slot).

I'm not saying it's broken but I AM saying you're not for real if you think that's comparable.

What's

I'm not sure how a spell slot, of any level, is a limitless resource? They are quite limited and coveted in my experience, you never know how many you will need in the next five fights if the day...

I think Unicorn Spirit is overpowered also under the same logic that the Disciple of Logic/Goodberry combo works ( which I never agreed with personally since eating a goodberry has nothing to do with using a spell ). Goodberry is the spell that keeps on giving. Even if you disagree with the two working together, it really seems to trivialize healing tremendously.
