D&D 5E what version of the Ranger do you use?

Just taking an informal "poll"...

Since the Ranger has been one of the most hotly contested and debated topics since the launch of 5E, I'm curious now that the dust has settled (or hasn't settled!), what version of the Ranger does your group actually use?

I'm definitely in the camp of being disappointed with the PHB Ranger. It's convoluted and lackluster. I liked what I saw with the Revised Ranger and was very disappointed that WotC decided to stop development; I wanted to see it finished.

Has anyone "finished" the Revised Ranger?

Gotta say that, aside from the Beastmaster, I don't see much wrong with the ranger (any more than any other class). I had a very happy ranger player in my last campaign that was surprised when I told him what people on the internet have to say about the class.

The revised ranger had some nice ideas, but went too far in some aspects (especially in regards to wholesale reducing aspects of the exploration pillar to meaninglessness). It could have been fixed to be more reasonable, but WotC has abandoned the idea of revised classes. Instead, we'll get more subclasses or maybe some alternate class features in they feel particularly daring.

Possibly a Idiot.
The last ranger we used was the Revised Beastmaster.
However, we have recently started a new campaign, and nobody is playing any kind of Ranger, though that might be due to us switching to D&DBeyond, which doesn't have the Revised option (because they don't have custom base classes).

The capstone ability is particularly lackluster, granting a fairly small bonus in a fairly small sub-set of circumstances. It's certainly nothing like the fighter or barbarian, or even the paladin.
