Is anyone excited at this point? I'm in the "just get it over with already" camp.....
The OGL fiasco has taken a lot of wind out of my sails. I would like them to put out the books already, yes, but I'm even more interested in having the 2024 books out, along with Tales of the Valiant, C7d20 and Level Up, so I can get a good comparison between all four lines and Frankenstein together my perfect edition of 5E (the journey rules from C7d20 are going to be in there for sure, and probably the social combat, too).

The fact that everything they're talking about for adventures after 2024 has zero appeal to me also is also having an impact. (I'm already running a campaign that will be running to super-high levels and deal with world-shattering menaces, thanks.)

Possibly a Idiot.
No to calling it Domain of Beauty, because that has connotations of the character having to be beautiful. The concept of a bard sub-class that is focused on abstract aesthetics is interesting, though muse seems like more of a passive than active role. So I'm wondering how that gets translated into an active character experience.
The bard is just constantly on a Trip, (See the Psy Kings sanatorium level from Psyconauts 2, if you want a family friendly take on how that would work)

I'm honestly just shocked that weapon masteries are going forwards... Because it's actually a completely new element, rather than a gently massaged old one.

But why are Paladins getting them? Ranger and Rogue are Experts, it's fine, but Paladin is now in the Priest category, isn't it? They don't need this, when they can just smite!

Smite + Shillelagh + Weapon Mastery meta?

To be more precise, epic boons themselves were received well. Them coming at 20th level (and consequently bumping the class capstone features to 18th) was received poorly. For a definition of poorly that encompasses up to 69% satisfaction.
Right. I was trying to short hand the whole "coming at 20th level", et al. in my previous post without typing all that. Heck, I liked the class capstones coming earlier. I also want the Epic Boons to be in the PHB.
