do we wring our hands this much about taking the family to one lunch?! I took my family to the movies yesterday…and we got drinks!

A PHB is cheaper and can be resold! I am gambling less on a “new edition” than a movie.

But I am looking at it before I buy it! If other people like it and adopt it, how is that a scam? Was 5e a scam?

Is life real? Am I a hologram? What is the sound of one hand clapping? Was New Coke an intentional failure? Are hot dogs really made of dogs?

You clearly only know some companies.

Are you aware that it is a viable corporate strategy to make money by selling good products that people want? That selling bad products that people don’t want is much harder?

Which means.... the bottom line is what's important. If selling a good (enough) product makes money then.....

Our kids are grown. I've had a good job for many years. I buy lots of rpg books because I love having them, reading them and playing... some of them. 😁 I certainly do not want companies to stop churning out games or new editions. There is absolutely nothing wrong with spending money on your hobbies. You should see my dice collection. Now that might be a problem. 😏

My prepainted miniatures are a problem.
