I wholeheartedly approve. The tough part would be selling an adventure like that to existing gamers. What about an "intro" version with basic rules and an "established" version for those that know the rules already?

I hope to find these pre-painted minis in abundance as you describe. I try to look for them, but most of the non-rare figures are dumped into plastic bins with no organization whatsoever.
I can shop for everything, or I can spend an entire day going through one booth's bins. And then find...
Feats as diversification's reward
I was reading this thread when I arrived at this conclusion. You can either optimize stats-wise (maxing out your three main stats) and take less-than-useful feats, or you can diversify your stats, and use feats to make up for some of that usefulness.

Yeah, I understand that. But do you want wizards to have a list of daily powers that can expand outside of the standard rate (whatever that may be?). Even if they're all (say) level 3 powers, the fact that the wizard can choose from 12 while the fighter still only gets to pick between 3...
I had the same thought. I remember when wizard (or magic-users, really) used to love killing other wizards because it meant getting their spell books and opening up more spell choices.
While it makes sense that such a thing is still possible (after all, we know they have spell books and we...
