    Pirate help request

Hey all, I'm sure this has been asked before, but what the hell... Starting a pirate campaign and looking for a class. I don't like the Swashbuckler or the Corsair PrC. Haven't really seen a good 'pirate' class I like. So I'm looking for some more unusual builds, maybe one that has some healing...

    List of teamwork feats?

Anyone have or know of a list of just the teamwork feats? I can't find one, and I think they're scattered amongst several books.

    Grapple/Swallow Whole - guidance needed

Thanks all for this. It sounds like I did screw up a bit. I have another question. When the Tendriculous swallows, a character has to make the fortitude save to avoid paralysis. If successful, he has to make it each round. Do you make it on the creature's turn, or the character's? If you make...

    Grapple/Swallow Whole - guidance needed

Interesting. I was thinking that if you had a light weapon drawn, you still had to make a successful grapple check to attack with it. So what do you think about the potion? Grogg thinks drinking it is fine. I'm not so sure. I guess if it's in hand, it's probably fine. Hard to say, though.

    Grapple/Swallow Whole - guidance needed

So I almost killed my group last night, and I'm still not sure I played this correctly. They fought a Tendriculous, which swallowed and killed 3 party members. The main question involves when you're swallowed. The grapple rules say you need to make a grapple check to attack with a light weapon...

Fire Domain turning and undead turning

In the spirit of 'most likely been asked a bunch of times before', I have a question about Clerics with domains like the Fire domain, which lets you effectively turn elementals. Are the turn attempts granted by those domains in addition to the regular tun attempts granted by the Cleric class...

Out of curiosity, how old is the backup you'll be restoring?

    D&D 3E/3.5 3.5 when are you no longer flat-footed

You know, when it comes right down to it, yeah. Pretty much. :)

    D&D 3E/3.5 Multiple attacks with a 2-handed weapon? 3 or 3.5

Is Dragon Magazine stuff in play? If so, use the Kensai variant Fighter from issue 310. It offers a Rain of Blows feat that can be taken, which allows a second attack, with a −3 on both attacks. Also offers a Storm of Blows feat which allows a third attack, with all attacks at −6. They have...

    D&D 3E/3.5 3.5 when are you no longer flat-footed

Heh, nice! I've railed against DM Genie to no avail. I'm outnumbered. :)

Need help with a dispute re: Druids and shared spells

We have a debate going on in our group about a Druid's ability to share spells with him animal companion. The short of it is, does the animal companion have to meet prerequisites of the spell, or is it only the Druid that does? Understanding, of course, that the description says spells that...

    D&D 3E/3.5 3.5 when are you no longer flat-footed

That's exactly the situation. Our DM does EVERYTHING with DM Genie, and DM Genie keeps you flat-footed until the END of your turn, so for AoOs we provoke on that first round, we're flat-footed. I keep telling him DM Genie is screwed up in more than one place... :)

    D&D 3E/3.5 3.5 when are you no longer flat-footed

So at the start of a combat, you are flat footed until you act in the round. The question is, are you flat footed until the End of your turn that round, or just until you start to act on that round?

D&D 3E/3.5 [3.5 rules] Flesh to Stone & Break Enchantment

So this has probably come up before, but I'm rarely here and can't search, so... Can Break Enchantment reverse the effect of Flesh to Stone? The FAQ only addresses the fact that it can reverse the effect of a Medusa Flesh to Stone, not the actual spell. Break Enchantment reads: However, it...
