communication, and setting expectations is key. If the GM is not going to be able to involve the player in some positive way for the player, and the player would rather be elsewhere, then in that case I don't see any player/gm foul here.

Dresden Accelerated is really darn good, if your wanting to take some of the complexity of the rules out and focus on story this is the way... Deffiately a great product.
Just wanted to say that I just upped my funding level to the early Exalted Magistrate level. I enjoyed Freeport, and other settings that have involved large cities that literally you can run entire campaigns in. This feels like that there is so much potential as a GM and player to create...
