    D&D (2024) DM's no longer getting crits on PC's

If you play with player only crits, then combat for the players poses less risk as they are not fearful of the DM rolling 20's. As a player you gain all the benefits of scoring a crit, but have no fear of a crit being scored against you. No risk, but gain a reward. I have seen so many video...

    D&D (2024) DM's no longer getting crits on PC's

I prefer a risk vs reward gaming style. When I DM, both players and the DM will always be able to crit.

Too Much Effort to Make New Characters?

I'm not a big fan of players that try to give a GM ultimatums. A GM should try to be fair though and if there is an action a player has declared, which the GM knows will be potentially fatal, then a GM should ask the player if they are sure and perhaps even point out the danger involved...

    Spelljammer Spelljammer Miniatures Coming!

The flight stands they have been using for the last couple years are quite broad in diameter, very rigid and far less prone to breaking. I wouldn't really worry about them breaking.

    D&D 5E I Think We Need A Bigger Shelf

Unfortunately, the costs for overseas production of mass-produced items like this (including the recently massively inflated shipping container prices) are so dramatically different from U.S. domestic costs that this will never really be a viable option. However, I know WizKids is exploring...

Kickstarter [Galladoria Games] Factions of Galladoria (Painted and unpainted accessories and terrain)

This campaign is still moving along at a great pace, even during the dreaded "middle days" of a Kickstarter campaign. The $38,000 reward level was just unlocked. Next up is the "Elven Barricades". They would also make a great substitute for a "wall of thorns" spell. Factions of Galladoria

Kickstarter [Galladoria Games] Factions of Galladoria (Painted and unpainted accessories and terrain)

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/galladoria/factions-of-galladoria Quality made, mass produced pre-painted terrain and accessories are not that common (dominated by WizKids and Dwarven Forge) so this crowd funding campaign really caught my eye. The Factions of Galladoria Kickstarter has...

D&D 5E Why is animate dead considered inherently evil?

This is correct. From a completely impartial viewpoint there is nothing wrong with it. In most current day cultures, the desecration of corpses is considered taboo and this is further reinforced by many religious beliefs and practices. In a fantasy world where cultural beliefs and religious...
