I'd say you have the spirit of it. If you can squeek it in toss Leap Attack on the dragons feats.

Flight should normaly bump you up but given how horribly underpowered the rest of it is... I think you are fine at ECL 0.

Something one should note while watching 2001 is the release date and the quality of the special effects. In most ways they are superior to the first Star Wars and about 7 years earlier to boot.

I've seen it a few dozen times. Its a powerful film but very dark. You might want to read the book for better effect.

Around that level is when I let them start to hang themselves. Usually they have lists of things their character wants to do and most of the time what they want to do make the encounters write themselves barring that I use creatures with class levels.

Its a precolumbian mezzoamerican thing. As I have much curtailing of magic items in my game quality craftsmanship, materials and the like have become important factors.

You should add Feathered Cloaks to your armor/equip list. Supposedly it was really good vs. Arrows and such... I had been putting it at +1 ac vs missiles but might shift that to +1/- DR vs missiles.
