    Acquisitions Inc. Book Officially Announced

As far as I know the book will include some character options, including the "roles" (decisionist, hoardmaster, etc.) of various franchise employees (glimpsed in a preview image), and a new race, the Verdan, first seen on the C Team. The book also includes a mini-campaign going from levels 1-6...

Unearthed Arcana Spores, Brutes, and Inventors: Unearthed Arcana Brings You Three New Subclasses

It would be neat if the Brute did something with Intimidate. Maybe make Brute Force key off of Versatile or Heavy?

Sword Coast Legends Developer n-Space Closes Down After 21 Years

Exaggerated sports games was Midway's wheelhouse for a long time. NBA Jam, NFL Blitz, NHL Hitz, and MLB Slugfest (and even Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey) were all fun in their own way. Exaggerated D&D games can also work well. I have fond memories of the Dark Alliance games and Demon Stone, while...

FANTASY GROUNDS Virtual Tabletop's D&D License!

This seems like a great boon for people playing games over the internet but is a far cry from what was initially promised with DungeonScape. As rough as it was DungeonScape was centered around developing a tool to use at the table. I have to wonder if Wizard's has abandoned that plan entirely...

D&D 5E DnD 5ed Auto-calculating Fillable Character Sheet based on Dragon's Lair Design

This is another great sheet. My only complaint is that the Race & Class features section is a bit too small (at least for a low-level Rogue or Bard). With a Human Rogue/Bard at level 6 I can fill up the whole section. If I were playing another race I'm not sure there would be enough room.

No, I just forgot about Arcane Savant and was being a bit facetious.

    D&D 5E ForgedAnvil D&D 5E Character Generator

RE: Spellcasting I think it's another multiclass issue. The Bard 3/Rogue 3 has me selecting 5 cantrips when it should be 2. Also the sample Wizard has a lot of spells. Wizards learn spells naturally at a rate 6 +2/level. An 8th level Wizard has a minimum of 20 spells. Presuming a Wizard adds...

    D&D 5E ForgedAnvil D&D 5E Character Generator

Making a Bard 3/Rogue 3 I noticed the following: Jack of All Trades looks like its rounding up. Expertise from multiples classes is not currently supported. Spellcasting looks a bit weird.

I love this sheet. Is there an over/under on when there's going to be a C&D?

[UPDATED] Issues With Official D&D 5E Spell Cards?

I did a quick check of ReferenceUSA which tells me that Battle Front Miniatures (www.flamesofwar.com) is incorporated in DE (no surprise given their tax laws), you can try the phone numbers listed there (302) 366-8620 if you're adventurous. EDIT: My guess is this is where US orders come from...

The Biggest RPG Story of the Year?

It is the first setting for "Fantasy AGE" and most of the "major" fantasy book series are already licensed. I think the video games route might be the right track. Elder Scrolls is a good bet, particularly with ESO moving to F2P and coming to XBone and PS4 in June. Fable might be another...

15 Roleplaying Game Predictions for 2015

RE: PAX Live D&D I don't see Vin Diesel being their go-to. I think there are a number of more viable options whose personalities and name recognition strike a better balance w/ the intended audience. This would be my shortlist: Chris Hardwick Patton Oswalt Chris Kluwe Dan Harmon Stephen...

    D&D 5E ... and we have a wizard!

One of my favorite ways of getting into character as a Wizard was to copy down my spellbook. Having that sheaf of known spells at hand made me smile. As handy as the 4th Edition character builder is/was I've always found that the best way to get to "know" your character is to write things out.
