In our group, we ruled that you could not use your Mystic Power while the Barb Wass raging, just not enough mental control due to the rage.

It would be nice if they made the entire PSI format based off of a stat, PSI, like they do with Sanity. Saves/Attacks/Damage... everything works from a PSI save/stat. You could have all the cool material from the Mystic and additional to any class without needing to shoehorn a subclass.

I would not allow telepathy in replace of the verbal component of casting the spell. I would allow the effect of a spell to use telepathy in the case of effecting a target who does not hear. For example using telepathy to Vicious Mockery a deaf targets mind or Suggestion effecting a target who...

No one said the spells do not need to be spoken if they have a verbal component, only that if the effect of a spell needs to be "heard", a telepath should be able to effect a target by using telepathy since the target "hears" in there mind.

I think that "Hear" is a invention of people who have sound. I could be wrong but is this the correct us of the word hear(past tense), "When the telepath spoke to me in my mind, I 'heard' his thoughts."?
