    Born to Grapple

I'm trying to improve a character's grapple check. Any suggestions on skills, feats, spells, enhancements, or PrCs that can aid me in my quest. I've already used or considered: Imp. Grapple (feat), Enlarge Person (spell), Bull Strength (spell)

    Long Spear with Longer Arms

No, I'm talking about 3.5... The key word in that second quote is "appropriate." As I understand this, a large creature would need a huge (2-handed for him) spiked chain to classify as "appropriate," and the same large creature could use a large (1-handed for him) spiked chain in one hand as...

    Long Spear with Longer Arms

Yes, Yeti said it more clearly. A large creature can use a large weapon one handed. Thus an ogre with 2 weapon fighting and oversized 2-weapon fighting could dual-wield spiked chains. That's kinda scary. But would his reach be 15' or 20'? I'm still a bit fuzzy. EDIT: OK Infiniti I just...

    Long Spear with Longer Arms

Somewhere in the rules it says that a large creature with a reach weapon doubles his reach to 20'. So... Medium humanoid with a non-reach weapon = 5 ft. Medium humanoid with a large reach weapon = 10 ft. Large humanoid with a non-reach weapon = 10 ft. Large humanoid with a huge reach weapon =...

    Magical Monk

Actually, my build is a werebear monk, I used the centaur because it seems to be everyone's favorite example. But yes, If money allows I'll pimp out my claw, claw, bite, as well.

    Magical Monk

Cool, I was right for once :) Now let me know what you think of this. A monk pays a 20th level caster to throw Greater Magic Fang on his unarmed strike, thus granting a +5 enhancement bonus to hit and damage. He then gets a 20th level caster to toss on a permanency. Cost for Greater Magic...

    Magical Monk

I have yet another monk related question. With any luck, this one will not escalate to the point of my "Claw, Claw, Bite, Karate Chop?" post. As per the PHB (pg 41)... and PHB (pg 250)... So, would all of the unarmed strike attacks of a monk (punch, kick, elbow, Vulcan nerve pinch, etc.)...

    Claw, Claw, Bite, Karate Chop?

As the original poster of this thread, I would like to thank everyone involved for their help and opinions, especially Dinkeldog for ending it. I may actually be more confused about the topic after reading the last couple pages of info, but I've come to the conclusion that my group will just...

    Claw, Claw, Bite, Karate Chop?

Can anyone here explain (in small words) how to handle a monk's flurry ability when he/she has natural weapons, i.e. claw, claw, bite. If you really want to be helpful, break down the number of attacks and bonuses of a Werewolf with one level of monk, both with and without using flurry.

    Figurines of Wondrous Power

Not in my book. Owl and Raven are there though, along with the "Goat of Terror". Whoever named that last one deserves a medal.

    Are Halflings immune to Lycanthropy?

I was just reading the MM section on creating a lycanthrope (pg 175). Under size and type, it says that the animal and the creature have to be within one size category of each other. So, a halfling could not be given the werebear, weretiger, or other large animal variety of the lycanthropy...

    Question regarding "Wild" armor.

Doh... I guess I should have kept reading.

    Question regarding "Wild" armor.

It still resizes in 3.5. Check pg. 213 in DMG.
