I have a half elf paladin 6 / sorcerer 10 as of this writing, wielding a staff of the magi. Casting quickened / distant aid or quickened or twinned cure wounds is amazing, quickened spells in combination with the multiattack and smite combo is a feast of damage.

in the DMG, the illustrations make Fallcrest look like a typical medieval European town, while the map looks like a typical (dare I say it?) American one. Ik think they should let the illustrator make the map next time, or at least cooperate during the creative process ;)

The wise cleric ignores the empower and the maximize for his curing: A Cure Critical wounds gets you 4d8+9 (average 25pts) for a fourth level slot. A Cure Serious Wounds get you 18.5 HP on average for a 3rd level slot. If you want to show the weaknesses in the feat, give me some good examples. :)
