I have been a fan of Storn's work for a couple of years now and have to say... this guy is fanominal. If money wansnt an issue this guy would get rich off me alone.
Thanks. I used to work for Games Workshop years ago and have won many awards for my painting, specifically my attention to small detail. I will often get women I know who ask me to paint their fingernails with cutsey little designs. That would be such good money but I cant stand the smell. YUCK!
Im going to work on taking some pics of my VAST range of D&D minis. I have hundreds (mostly from the Reaper line, which I love). My players love it when I start a new campain, everyone gets a custom Mini for their first character. After that it's 20 bucks per mini. I run two different weekly...
These are a few of my custom Minis. Not sure if Im doing this correctly. All are hero clix redone as supers for Mutants and Masterminds for a guy in the Twin Cities, Minn.
I swear by pine sol. I just get an old unused glass put the fig (s) in and fill it with pine sol just over the minis. Let it soak a day or three and brush em off with a stiff toothbrush. If not all the paint comes off repeat as necessary.
Break fluid for plastic minis. Doesnt work the best...
I beg to differ on the dremel thing. I have been painting minis professionally for nearly 20 years and I use a dremmel all the time. I also use a jewlers saw, wire cutters, and even nail clippers. All have their uses and functions. Hell I have even used a mitter saw a time or two expecially...
