Though I love psionics, I have to admit the Enchanter will likely be better off in most situations. We have a telepath in our party who mostly ends up using Concussion or Empathic Transfer/Lesser Body Adjustment to be a field medic.

I've only seen counterspelling used once, when one of the sorcerers in our party counterspelled a Haste spell being cast by a Monk/Wizard. Due to the protection the Monk/Wizard had up, there was little the sorcerer could do, so he sat around with a readied action to counterspell. I don't think...
