Right now there are 2 Game of Thrones spots available (I'm typing this as 12 noon Eastern Time on Sunday), both on Thusday 8/19, event codes RPG01015 and RPG01016. I'd sign up for one of them, but I've got another game going at the same time. Hope someone grabs them before they disappear.

Thanks for pointing that out! It wasn't there when I checked last, but now it is. Much appreciated.

Cheers,
Cam

I'm hoping to actually make it to this year's ENWorld gathering...probably after the ENnies, again?

For people not making it into the games they wanted...pick up games are the lifeblood of the convention. Heck, I ran 4 games last year in official capacity and they were a disaster compared to the pick-up games.

I'm cooking up a d20 Future adventure to run as a pick-up game in case anyone decides they need me to run anything.
I'm all about some d20 Future...

mmm... guns. :)

Hey Gertie--there was nothing attached to this message. Can you either edit it, or repost so we can see the results of your work?

Yeah, I'm an Idiot. Let's see if it works this time. Sorry about that.

Nice badge design! Last year we went with generic ENWorld logos, our real name, and our screen name, no avatar pics. But I like your design alot, I may steal it if you don't mind!:D

I think Negative Zero made up all the badges last year, but I haven't seen him around here for months. I don't know if he is still around. What we did was have a thread about 3 weeks before the con (there willend up being a bunch of long threads then) and asked everyone who was attending to post and give their real names. Then he compiled a list of names, made the badges up, and brought them to the ENPublishing booth (maybe we can use the ENnies promo table this year?) and as people stopped by, they picked there ENWorld badge up. It worked out really well.

If things don't work themselves out as it gets closer, I'll start the thread and coordinate the badge list. As if I don't have enough to do already...

Cam, let me know if you get into either of the Game of Thrones demos on Thursday. Those are the two I registered for.

Having the avatar is a good idea... I'm bad with names... but, I can remember photos/pictures really well.
We debated using avatars last year, but decided against it for a couple reasons. 1.Some people change avatars quite often 2.It was easier to have a blank tag and just drop names onto it than finding everyone's avatars and copying them onto the tags (there were alot of nametags that had to be made)
I'll scan mine from last year and post it so everyone can see what they looked like

Uh.....let's make it easy. Keep the same design as last year. Those of use who still have them, can re-use them. That saves some on printing costs, at the very least.

I'll just be excited to have a nametag of my very own... it's what I've always wanted.

*tears of joy and fulfillment*

Here is my name tag from last year. Simple and it gets the job done. We had those plastic pin on badge holders so you could wear it on your shirt or pin it onto the same lanyard you have your GenCon badge on.
