"Hmm I guess pretty well...." Dextyr mumbles as his sword passes harmlessly over the creatures head, missing it by a country mile. Giving the thing a little more respect Dextyr backs away a step to get a better measure of the beast.

Janus look shock that the Vampire attack him, "Well that last spell didn't do so good, try this vampire scum, err spawn. Evaw rednuht” Janus begins to murmur once again in a forgotten tongue, motes of snow and ice forming around his body, spinning in time to the rhythmic canting. Janus crouches low, twisting to his right, then flings his arms out toward the vampire. A low rumble begins, quickly reaching a crescendo as a wave of ice and snow is blasted forth from Janus’s hands stretching out to engulf the vampire and narrowly missing Dextyr. The creature dives to the ground in an unnatural pose, dodging the blast. On the other side of the battle, Shorrin ducks behind his shield, laughing the entire time. "Fun lot you are. Pity we couldn't get along."

His hunger satiated only for the moment, Murphy looks around the battlefield for his next victim. His eyes are different now than you've seen them, a pinprick of red at the center of his pupils, and his eyes have gone black. The swordsman sees the lightly armoured elf, engaged in a battle with Shorrin, and recalls that this foe cost him the advantage of stealth. Stepping around Ackurno, Murphy stalks towards his foe, knowing he has the elf in a situation where he's caught between himself and the massive dragonborn, Shorrin.

Stepping forward, Murphy feints with a slash to the right side of the elf, but he quickly pulled the blade back as the elf reacts to the attack. The assassin stabs the elf in the shoulder and again whispers, "Yes, it is alright, your time is now" and the shadows detach from himself and Shorrin to feast on the elf. Again the shadows engorge themselves on the life energy of humanoid and the elf falls. Now having dropped this fool, Murphy spots the mage standing all alone. Thinking the man would like some company, the assassin runs along the battlefield in the blink of an eye. Murphy stabs at the mage, but the wizard manages to sidestep at the last moment, avoiding the strike. "Don't worry, next time I won't miss" he says to nobody in particular, unless you count the growing shadows as somebody.

Larinza swings her glaive but it is blocked by the dragonborn.

Ackurno snarls at Shorrin and Larinza before shifting towards the them and lashing out with his sword, striking the warlord for the first time. Zehis holds up a staff in one hand, steps back from the shadowed hero What kind of creature are you!? ,and looses magic missiles from his wand. Murphy dodges them easily. The vampire moves slyly towards the boulder and swipes at Dextyr, its claws tearing his flesh with an unholy burning.

OK guess it's our turn again....

Dextyr swings at the beast once again with his sword, this time connecting a solid hit that severs the creatures head from it's body. Not waiting to see it hit the ground, Dextyr takes off to aid Tonk and the others. Rounding the Rock, he sees Tonk's prone and unmoving form and calls out. "Tonk, the battle is not over. Get up and fight".

Murphy chuckles at the mages comment, "Oh, don't worry, you shall learn shortly" as he gestures to the shadows cast by the trees behind Ackurno . One of them detaches from the ground and climbs up the mage's leg. Stepping forward, Murphy's face contorts, taking on the appearance of the halfling, Trotaiale, then just as quickly it changes again, this time into Alefel, the elf, then back to the previous mask of Murphy Tang.

"Soon, you'll join your friends." the assassin bluffs, hoping to throw the mage off and leave himself open. It seems to work and Murphy slashes a horizontal stroke with his large blade, drawing the first wound the mage has suffered. His own shadow anxiously contorts to consume some of the lifeblood falling from the wound.

The half-orc stands. (Move: Stand Up - AGAIN! Tonk resists Dextyr's slide. (Though I appreciate it, bro!))

And he SWINGS at the dragonoidishthingamawhopper.

Standard Action: Clever Strike, Mace v. AC (w/ +2 for combat advantage) 1d20+8+2=27, damage 1d8+4+2d6=14 -- forgot +1 for two hands, so damage is 15.

Shorrin moves hastily; not wanting to let the other dragonborn injure anyone else. His hammer flashes through the air, and rings loudly against the combination of armor and scales.
