//Wow. That chick's cloud mucks up a lot of Tonk's actions.

Okay, Tonk chooses his prey, charges to E10, and attacks, missing since I'm using his first roll. As far as the action point, this is our fourth 'encounter' this adventure:
  1. The skill challenge in the bar, when Tonk attacked the dwarf.
  2. The battle in the woods.
  3. The skill challenge to find the church.
  4. The battle with the shadar-kai.
If you rule that Tonk gets the action point, he makes the second attack and hits.//

[sblock=encounters] This is my first time as L4W DM, but none of the games I have been in have done this. I think that the skill challenges lead up to the encounters and give a benefit or penalty, but they aren't separate. Since it is odd for an action point to be spent during a Skill Challenge, we have an odd circumstance, but I am not going to change because of that. Ozy agrees as a judge at least [/sblock]

[sblock=milestones]
Personally, I don't like milestones from skill challenges as they're not challenging enough to warrant a milestone. [/sblock]

The swirling shadows protect the pale humanoids from most attacks, Larinza strikes true at the dazed one creating an opening for Dextyr. That one strikes out at Shorrin with another blow, keeping the dragonborn in the dark. The other man disappears and suddenly appears at his ally's side and strikes Murphy again, blinding him.

[sblock=mechanics] The dazed one attacks Shorring with CA and the other moves to G9 after turning invisible and attacks Murphy from invisibility. Both are now visible but still have concealment.
1d20+13=23 for 1d10+3=4 and blinds Shorrin 1d20+13=21 for 1d10+3=8 and blinds Murphy.

I apologize, but the blindness is TENT so there is no save. Since the benefit went to Murphy I don't see much negative for the PC.

Moon_Goddess

Have I really been on this site for over 20 years!
[sblock="OOC"]
If the Blinded condition can't be cured with a save I want to give him the +(1d6=4) hp that the power would have granted if I didn't choose the save option

[sblock=OOP and a blast from the past]Neither Tonk, Tristan, Dextyr or Mikara does have any death penalty from their previous adventure as they couldn't escape getting killed as the adventure was a gauntlet that could only be ended by the PCs death so Lauto removed the DP as a additional perk[/sblock]

Janus holds his ground and fires another icy ray at the nearest foe.

[sblock=ooc]
Move Action: N/A
Standard Action: Icy Ray at F9 Vs Fort. 1d20+6=9; Dmg 1d6+5=7 and the target is slowed until the end of my next turn

I didn't bother with the modifiers for dazed and concealment, the cancel each other out. :) And I missed anyway :(

Dextyr's strike bloodies the pale male and encourages his allies to press the advantage. Janus misses with his frozen ray and the woman in shadows assaults him. She gestures and the darkness leaps from her hand to encircle the mage's head and distract him. She shifts around Shorrin and her tendrils around her move to engulf Dextyr and Murphy as well the dragonborn.

[sblock=mechanics] Woman - Minor to sustain shadows, Standard - attack Janus 1d20+11=19 for 2d6+4=8 and he has no line of sight to anything more than 2 squares away (save ends). Move - shift to H10 so shadows around Dextyr and Murphy also.

Recall: Enemies that enter or start their turns in the aura take 5 necrotic damage, and enemies (including flying ones) also treat the area within the aura as difficult terrain.
