Dextyr takes a step back to catch his breath and distance himself from the shadow.

"Whew, we've got 'em now" he comments to no one in particular.

Larinza's words help Janus from the hurt he has recieved but his eye sight is still affected. Stumbling in the tangled undergrowth he hurls icy missiles randomly.

Mace in hand, Tonk charges into the darkness, striking the woman. She finally seems less confident with black blood flowing from numerous wounds. She vanishes into shadow and reappears as a ghostly reflection in the midst of the heroes. Her shadows engulf them and her clawed hands strike with fire and burning pain.

[sblock=mechanics] Tonk can't tumble so after the charge he is at G9 (tell me if different and I can retcon). His attack bloodied the woman. She teleports and returns insubstantial and attacks Tonk at the moment 1d20+11=26 vs Reflex for 2d6+4=9 fire and necrotic. The shadows still emanate from her.

Deep Shadow (thick, writhing shadows surround her. She and any other shadow creatures in the aura gain concealment. In addition, enemies that enter or start their turns in the aura take 5 necrotic damage, and enemies (including flying ones) also treat the area within the aura as difficult terrain.)

[sblock=OOP]Difficult Terrain: Because each square of difficult terrain costs 1 extra square to enter, you can’t normally shift into a square of difficult terrain, unless you’re able to shift multiple squares or you’re able to ignore the effects of difficult terrain.

And tumble lets Tonk shift his speed.

[sblock=retcon] Okay, Tonk is at G6 and 28hp. She hits Dextyr with Beshadowed Mind ranged attack instead. Dextyr is now at 11 hp and "no line of sight to anything more than 2 squares away (save ends)"[/sblock]

Murphy confidently walks into the shadows, knowing he has little to fear from their touch. With a gesture of his wrist, another shadow crawls up the woman's leg as the assassin moves next to her. Murphy's strike is terribly inaccurate, the shadows are throwing off his vision. Focusing on the effect, Murphy allows it to flow into him, and he changes it, twists it and bends the force for his own benefit.

Larinza strikes out but her blow misses the woman. The shadows around her and Shorrin seem to sap their energy as they fight. Suddenly from behind a tree comes the pale male, who was hiding in near his fallen allies. He strikes Shorrin, causing shadows to blind the dragonborn before vanishing. He reappears next to the woman in a shadowy form like hers.

[sblock=mechanics] Three misses, and everyone will get 1 more action point after this fight but you can only spend 1 per fight, so Shorrin Larinza or Dextyr still have theirs to spend. Male hits Shorrin. Don't forget the nasty shadows, the woman seems to be concentrating to keep them going.
